What are Privileged Cards?

Privileged cards, also known as member cards, loyalty cards, rewards cards, or points cards, are physical or virtual cards that identify the cardholder as a member of a loyalty program.

A loyalty program is a program set up by a company to encourage customers to continue patronizing their business. To do this, businesses offer rewards, which can be in the form of discounts, exclusive deals, or early access to new products or services.

Privileged cards can be used in a number of different ways, depending on the needs of the business or customer.

  • They can be used to provide enhanced security for online transactions, or as a way to reward customers for their loyalty.
  • These cards are also used to track and store purchase history, as well as other customer data that can be used for marketing purposes.
  • Loyalty programs are designed to encourage customers to continue doing business with a particular company or brand.

How Do Privileged Cards Work?

In order to participate in these programs, customers must first sign up and provide their contact information. Once they are enrolled, they will be issued a loyalty card that they can use every time they make a purchase.

Most loyalty programs are free to join, but some may require an annual fee.

Privileged cards work by tracking the purchase history of customers. Every time a cardholder makes a purchase, they will earn points that can be redeemed.

The number of points earned per purchase will vary depending on the program. Some programs may also offer bonus points for spending a certain amount of money, or for making purchases on specific days.

Most loyalty programs will also offer exclusive deals and discounts to cardholders. These deals may be available for a limited time, or they may be ongoing offers that are always available to cardholders.

The use of privileged cards is not just limited to businesses. Some banks and credit card companies also offer rewards programs that give customers points or cash back for using their cards.

Are Privileged Cards Legal?

Yes, privileged cards are legal in the United States. However, there are some restrictions on how these programs can be run.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has put in place rules that prohibit businesses from requiring customers to spend a certain amount of money in order to earn rewards, or from offering rewards that are not clearly disclosed.

For instance, at official Hodgetwins, we have put up this disclaimer on our cards as a way of being up front with our customers

“No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Purchase or payment does not improve your chance of winning. The hodgetwins #6 is open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous U.S. States and d.C. (Excluding FL and NY) Who have reached the age of majority. Void elsewhere and where prohibited.

The FTC also requires businesses to disclose how long it will take for customers to earn rewards, as well as any expiration dates on those rewards.

Our disclaimer in adherence to this is as follows:

” Promotion ends 11/30/2022. Winner must pick up the vehicle from a location in Nevada or Arkansas, designated by Sponsor..”

Finally, the FTC requires businesses to provide customers with a way to opt out of the program if they no longer want to participate.

The bottom line is that privileged cards are legal, but there are some restrictions on how they can be used.

What are the Benefits of Using Privileged Cards?

There are numerous benefits of using privileged cards, both for businesses and customers.

For businesses, these programs can be used to increase sales, track customer purchase history, and collect valuable marketing data.

They can also be used to build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business.

For customers, these programs offer the opportunity to save money on future purchases, as well as the chance to earn rewards. So if you are a customer, look for businesses that offer these programs so that you can take advantage of the benefits.

Overall, privileged cards are a win-win for both businesses and customers.

Our Hodgetwins Privileged Cards

We have two types of cards:

Official race card: The Race Card trumps everything. This card grants its bearer happiness and success because it’s the color of your skin and not the choices you make that determine your abilities to be successful.

Reparations Card: This card grants its holder unlimited funds and resources for life. Its holder has been oppressed and discriminated against since before being conceived in the womb. Therefore the general public owes them first access to all promotions, jobs and general opportunities to better their life. The holder is not required to work for anything they are given.

As you can see our cards have a different twist to the general idea of a privileged card. We’ve taken the focus off of race and put it more towards success and opportunities. More of a mental state of mind if you will. We want our customers to feel empowered and motivated when they use our products!
